I always was interested in Art , since a child...I took art and graphics at school, and studied programming after school, and later I took a year CG course..
I was born in South Africa, and many people say they can see an african infleunce in my work...
Now im currently living in Japan...
BIOIceblade was my usual nick, but it was taken so mush was added as a suffix...
Why mushrooms? I dont know...we needed a cute game character, and Mutant Mushroom was born..
The Alien Metal Mushrooms were using his mesh and then just using the polished silver material, and so a whole new universe was born..
I love Science Fiction and Fantasy, and I think Renderosity has really helped me improve my work!
Im also working for gaimplay
as the lead designer...

Oh, and my "real" job is teaching English in Japan, but this is great, as it frees a lot time to do CG!
I want to release some freeware models in the future, just havent got round to it, and even some on the market place...

really neat, love the colour of the lighting ! I wonder about changing the mirror to be a fireplace and have some logs piled against the LHS wall, and a few more pots and pans....

Realy like the mirror :) Maybe a fireplace on the left wall? Wood looks rather new. Beautiful atmosphere and colours!

hi richard, great and neat work. i think, the sky needs improvement (looks like the typical bryce sky) and the metal rings of the wood barrels looks low polygon. how about soft shadows?

I love it, I can't wait to see it when it's done. I think it's great now, wonder what else youre gonna add to it. I'll be waiting in great hopes.

Nice going on the volumetric light casting through. Well, to add the mystery, why not darken the entire room a little more, just to show what those green lites can do? Besides that, I think it's ready to serve....
