These remind me of my grandma's balcony! She kept thousands of them! Every time a gummy leaf fell she put it half underground, and soon there was a new plant... That's why they grow so thick, they generate from fallen leaves (Thank you for the remembrance- moment)

I do exactly the same as jgeorge's Grand Ma...easy to grow....the worse the soil...the better the Succulent...good defined shot. Hugz!

I didn't know that they also have coloured "leaves". Over here they are green, grow some stems and have blossoms in similar colours on the top then. Had one in my front garden once - didn't survive a German winter though :-(

Great shot. Great color. Superb definition. It shows again that nature is the best fractal artist. Poetic Symetry. Excellent! I think I can get around picking you as a favorite artist.

Russian winter stopped Napoleon, Polish winter didn't stop this plant from growing in my mother's garden :D I love the quality and sharpness of this shot. Excellent work, Steve :)))

This art cant survive the Danish winter too, so i have the in my window in the winter, and takes them to the garden in summertime. Mine dont have the nice colors as this one, only green. Very nice shot.

Ha! Very nice. I've seen those things all the time and they're always annoyingly boring...but nothing is truly always boring. Well done.
