Description

CSW-40 multi-purpose assault rifle. RIS mounting systen and folding stock. Basic targeting systems consist of a handle mounted x3 scope with active/passive infrared and a reddot holosight for fast target aquisition mounted on top of the handle. The holosight can be removed to reveal the primmitive emergency targeting rail. Design is loosely inspired by the HK G-36, 3 different AT XM-8 designs and several other modern rifle systems. Please let me know what you think!

Nice work Void, but why no weaver rail for grenade launchers? and the green dots are... to lurid i think.

Taking off the handguard reveals the forward mounting rail. Then you can mount anything you want ;P

Excelllen Rifle Void. Great touch with the IR-Lamp in the handle (btw. thehandle itself is nice to, especially that it is removable), or the markings onthe casing, or the transparent magazines actually filled with bullets and.... oh the beauty ;-)

I think it is excellent, but you should not always do guns, tanks and all that destructive stuff. Why dont you try for something fluffy and cute? Okay, silly me. g Just do what you are best at and what you like. ^_^

It seems funny, but "read manual before use" is indeed a common insciption on firearms! :)

Drool... Absolutely wonderful work, my friend. Your skills as a creative designer, a competent gunsmith and an exceptional modeler all come together in this one. May I place an order for four hundred and seventy-eight million units, please?

I really do not care for guns in real life, but I do know when I see an artist who has put much care, effort and time into his work.

Great. transparent magazines are a great improvement over witness holes. do ya have water and sand drain capability? I would love to see a 800 meter main battle rifle chanbered in 7.62X39 which also uses the Kalishnakov magazines including drums. Select from safe, semi, 3x or full. A 3 locking lug barrel to accept supressors; flash/compensator, dry wipe sound or bayonet. Front hand grip similar to the MP5, that swivels - horizontal or verticle; and could steady the rifle on prone position, or swivil out of the way to get my head lower than my butt. (Wonder if you could incorporate the grenade launcher into the forward hand grip?)I love the trigger but the mag release looks somewhat difficult for a gloved hand. Top rear corner of butt rounded and smooth. If the "lump" behind the chamber is the cocking handle than definate I would want that changed so I could cock it with either hand, gloved, edge of door, any rough or friction surface, such as clothes. Finally - sand cuts on the bolt and a rapid change barrel of 2 lengths, short for up close and personal or long for those reach out and touch someone parties. Glad to see the left side of receiver bare and smooth for my tender cheeks. LOL. If someone just has to clutter up the appearance then add a spare mag holder. Just a few thoughts of my own ieal personal butt saver for serious social encounters. In the final analysis - a vote and added to my fav artisits. :-D

An 800 meter rifle in 7,62x39 Soviet would be hard to make, because the combat range of 7,62 Soviet is roughly 400 meters. Perhaps I will do something like that, but with the more powerfull 7,62 rimmed. The "lump" is not the cocking handle, but a case ejection bumper. The cocking handle is G-3 style on the left side of the shaft. Thanks for the input. :D
