Description
Another picture for the ancient battle of Thermopylae at 480 B.C. between Greeks and Persians. After this battle, Spartans build a monument at the battlefield for their 300 dead warriors, with the inscription translated at this picture.

Superb poses - there's a real sense of battle in this picture. A fitting tribute to brave warriors. I must get around to doing my own Thermopylae picture one of these days.
