BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

Wonderful as usual. I haven't got the faintest idea how you do this. Is it random, or do you have control over the created shapes? So which came first? The bird or the egg?

Eerie and powerful image. Being a fan of darker style art, this is one of my favourite Hyperborea works. I too would love to know how you create your models. Ever thought of creating a tutorial?

It reminds me strongly of the attack-dance of some tropical bird. So strong the natural motion feeling of the creature that it seems a still from an animation.
