Description
Silhouette Series
Created from absolute scratch in The Gimp. Second in the Silhouette series.
Finally I have reached Impressionism. With the silhouette series I am attempting to make it look as if there is movement to the picture, like there's something next. As always, comments are more than welcome. Let me know what you see!

I like it very much! Only change I would have liked is if the "rays" didn't go through the silouette.. but other than that ..well done!!

looks great..but the lense flair affect in my opinion should not flow over the silhouette...:)

really good work... i agree with the others - but on the other side - ALL the background is "visible"... so ;-) really like the mood of the composition - good!

Beautiful, a striking image. I'm impressed and I have to disagree with the others, the silhouettes intangibility adds a dream-like quality, a past tense feeling & motion. Gorgeous work and my favorite color ;)
