Beautiful flame. I like the inherent luminosity, it's indeed similar to pictures of emmission nebulae with a central star surrounded by glowing gas.

woooow just gorgeous! I love the overall design, its soft and glowing, very etheral. Lovely smooth lines, and beautifully lit. The colouring is sublime, this has all my favourite shades ;)

This is a most beautiful flame, Alison. I love the way the light plays with and highlights the transparency. Yummy purple hues!

Have you ever read Stephen King's Dark Tower series? If this image had a red hue instead of a purple it would fit perfectly with the "Waste Lands" book. I still like the purple better though.
