I made some changes using the feedback I got I think it looks alot better and I'm not using radiosity just lights about seven four points with no shadow at about 5 or 10 one spot with a 3000 shadow map at 100 two areas one at 25 with a shadow and one under the floor with no shadow at 10 anymore comments or pointers are welcome

the images look good. With all those light sources, i think the white ball has a bit too much light or saturation. Then again if thats the effect your after :-). You might consider Rendering ONE time with caustics enabled to get the reflection of the light off the orbs, onto the floor or wall surface. you will have to play with the values a bit to get a decent effect (this is what im finding out). Raidosity and a few less light sources might give you a more realistic look, however both of these methods increase rendertime by a ton. Good work on the renders :)

right now render time is like a minute 5 seconds on high and 11 minutes with no adaptive sampling off but I am aiming for low rendertimes for animation purposes

Wish I could offer some intelligent suggestions, but I am just really impressed by the results you are getting, specially with such low render times.
