Description

In the latter part of the 19th century, travelers on the highways and lanes of Buckinghamshire feared the sudden appearance of a figure in dark silks who would politely relieve them of their valuables. Her name was Lady Caroline Rose, but in the pubs and taverns, she was called simply, the Black Rose...
