Description

Inspired by the recent and continuous great work being produced by pegasus86, I decided to take a break from high poly work and have a go at some low poly game stuff. I am happy with the result and will be making lots more low poly models. Thanks for the inspiration pegasus! :o)

Looks great. Do you have max 5? If you do try playing with the area shadows. also try using ablolute bias in your shadow params. It will help to make it not look like it is floating. I was looking at your work and you have come a long way. Keep it up.

Thanks guys! Hi rovert. Nice to see you again. :o) I haven't set up the lighting & shadows properly because it is a low poly game model, and the emphasis is on the model & textures really and not on the whole scene as a render, So I just dropped the model into a temporary scene and lighting setup until I get time to make a game type scene for it. Thanks for the comments. Mike :o)

I like the way it looks clean and sharp. Kinda like a photograph of an army jeep sitting in a gray room. Great job!

Impressive, very impressive considering the detail level and the low poly count. Well done, sir!

Lol@Oshio. Thanks Osh, I'm afraid the BMW is on the back burner as they say until I get more time, but it will be done, I promise. Thanks again everyone for your kind words and encouragement. It makes all the hard work worthwhile. :o) It's great to hear that you think I'm doing right, but also great to know you'll tell me if I'm doing wrong and offer help and support. Thanks a lot my friends. Mike :o)

This is great stuff, the textures really do this peice alot of justice, I could easily see this model being converted for use in the ever popular game - operation flashpoint. Well done mate - Noel Craig
