Description

Well, this is my first real attempt of making a planet with a proggie I downloaded recently called now3d. I tried to make it with the help of a planet tutorial I saw here for 3d studio max (Creating a planet in 3ds max) by Tibbe. The problem was that now3d seems to have too much differences with 3ds to use the tutorial completely. Which meant that at the end I more or less just messed around a bit, so sorry if that made the planet look bad. Who knows, maybe it'll help me improve my planets in the future. :-P Aaaaanyway....I made the star with OpenFX and added a fireball filter thingie to it. The star looks a bit like a blob I think. Should've kept the bend option alone when I created the sphere! ;-) Oh and for the stars I just added some dots of 1x1 in Pixia, also adding a few coloured ones (that is, not being white ;-)) here and there. Oh yeah, and also added the star and planet together in Pixia.
