Description

This is my first attempt at painting both hair and cloth after reading Will Kramer's tutorials. I would appreciate any tips you might have for improvement. I don't have a tablet, and that seems like a good investment. I feel I used a little too much blend tool and not enough small pixel brushes(my wrist was tired!). The hair is actually two layers(one at 50% opacity). Comments welcome--Thanks Will. V3 by DAZ rendered in Poser5, Post in PhotoPaint. Thank you for viewing...t.c.

No joke -- I've never tried to paint hair before because it seemed to intricate--it is! Will's tutorials simplify the process and were extremely helpful in the use of layers (or in PhotoPaint, objects). I don't know the man, nor is he paying me to say that! I must confess, I haven't read crasher's hair tutorial, but I intend too. Thanks for the comments.

This looks fantastic! I also need to get a tablet! I'm really impressed with the cloth, which is something I still haven't attempted-I'll check out those tutorials!! Try Crasher's tutorial-it's excellent! Beautiful work!

Hair AND cloth. Holy crimeney your jacket is even better than your hair. About the only thing you could do is maybe get the hairline a little less even and blur it a teense-- that's it! I'll go away and be sick now.;)
