Description

Another quickie! - playing with volumetric fire and composite explosions. The ships (from Starship Troopers) from scifi-art.com with some re-texturing by me.

The volumetric explosions are great - especially the one on the right. I've just been playing with that mat too, and I can't get it to look like that! :)

Yes I remember the scene! Most of my friends hated the movie, I loved it. I think they didn't realize the Paul was doing a SCI-FI parody. This is a fantastic recreation! I recognized it even before I read the text! Awesome!
