Description
The plan seemed simple enough; break out of the Starbase's brig, subdue the guards and make her way to the cargo hold. From there it's a straight shot to the observation deck and freedom via the escape pods.
Now with the security forces closing in she has an important decision to make - surrender or blast her way to freedom!
Credits: Daz's Vickie characters and outfits, some metal textures from mayang.com, helmet from 3D Cafe's free section. Everything else modeled by me in either Bryce or Amapi. Touch-ups in Photoshop!

Thelema
This is an incredibly well composed and thought out piece of sci-fi action and could well be a still from a movie and looks generally like all hells about to break loose. If rating was an option I'd give it great.Because there's only one thing that lets this vision down.Counting from the left:The high-light on figure 3 I assume is to illustrate weapons fire.If that is the case Figure 1 would not be standing forward of the wall looking contemplative but back to the wall, looking in the direction of that fire, poised and ready to react;not contemplating the floor.Sorry if that seems a bit harsh but it's the only thing that stops this being a piece that could get you an illustrators job.If this was on a book cover (apart from the prob mentioned)the whole piece screams pick me up and have a look. The motion blur very subtle / the pictures on the wall absolutely everything except hmmmm puts this on a par with the greats Vallejo/Achillios/Bell/Burns and the rest that get paid thousands upfront wether the publisher uses the art or not.

I think I agree with Thelema, also I think that your female on the left, aside from being re-Posed, should be sgnificantly smaller than the guards. Regardless of your storyline, this will increase the fear factor in the image... GREAT textures and lighting style!

I find the lighting and over all color to be very impressive in this image. Would love to see a close up of her face.
