Thanks to all who commented, it is appreciated. xxtreme:'texture ship had old out to see' makes no sense at all, even when examined with the wildest imagination! and for your information, the angler is firmly seated on the hull of the boat, which if you looked at carefully, you can see the shadow starting from the intersection of his body and that of the boat, if it was floating there would be light under him.

Very inspiring composition, I like the painted effect. One thing though the texture of the foreground dead branch shows the tile lines.

This has a nice almost acrylic painting effect to me. I love the composition. If I were beached you could replace that man with me, coz that is what I would be doing more than likely. Always find the silver lining in the situation, because there always is one. Another of my favs of yours also now Joe.
