This is 12000 ft above sea level on the Rocky Mountain National Park tundra, an ice cold spring surrounded by snow almost enclosed by high steep walls, on a perfectly clear, 95 degree day .)

Looks like maybe - Emerald lake. Was just there in june with my wife, celebrating our honeymoon. How cool to be able to have a snowball battle on a hot day in the end of June. Thank God that there is still magic in the world. Thanks for sharing the picture.

Excellent shot! I've driven that wonderful pass from the east to the west side of the park. Truly stunning! There's nothing like the Colorado Rockies. They're the best. :)
