Description

There is a lot of stuff i work on inbetween more meaningful pieces just to try and keep in practice, most of which no one ever sees. I'm sure everyone who looks at my work can pick out these images of practice from those that i've spent more time on and have had some sort of "intention" in their creation. Sometimes, though, i end up making something that just, to me, has an interesting look or specific detail that i'd like to share and i upload it just for the purpose of, for lack of better words, eye-candy. To me, this is one of those pieces. I was especially intrigued by the detail in the center, the sort of paisly-type design i ended up creating. The image consists of a photograph of a downward spiraling stairway for which i manipulated the color and contrating and then used a mirroring effect on, also, an explosion of fire that i created digitally (which i'm sure you have noticed i have used often as a theme), and imposed over an abstract 3D background that i made several months ago. Thanks :)
