Description

Hi everyone again. After my first C4D Render WIP, I completed the image adding some new elements (more details) to make it more lively. IMO, the sofa still sucks... :| Thanx for all the suggestions: I reduced the light glow to bring back the shadows of the previously-floating coffee table, I modeled some books to fill the shelves etc. I'm still training my hand with NURBS, next step will be ligthing. Please feel free to comment and suggest and critic, because I want to learn! Ah, yes: flowers and plants are imports from 3DCaf

Three times I say it's a very nice room, I got 3 ebots telling me you posted this and finally got here on the third, whew! Lovely work Stefano, you appear to be getting as good with C4D as you are with Bryce. This is very realistic and a beautiful render. 8)

Good job. The sofa does need at least better lighting so its not a dark form in the corner. other than that your lighting is well executed. If anything another light to illuminate the room a tiny bit more would do well, but its not at all necessary. Again, very good effort

Your work in C4d is improving by leaps and bounds. Lighting in much improved. The sofa does have an imposing presence, maybe reduce size some and adjust the lighting to lighten it up. Other than that though, excellent work!

Nice stuff, Stefano! The lighting is really quite good! The only thing out of balance in the image seems to be the sofa. Regardless, great work!

[but wait a minute before you get into lights, i want you to make the flowers mr NURBS man! hehe, bet that would be a challenge. and being doublecrash flowers, they would certainly be... um, er... interesting] fantastic image, wow...

I have had sofas that lurked, dark and forbidding, in my living room! Sometimes finding a new cover fabric is the only answer, or putting a quilt over them:-) I wish my living room looked this good!

Excellent work, Stefano!! You have done a wonderful room!! My only suggestion, and I say this as to the decor not the art, is change the couch. It is too massive for the other delicate furniture. I hope my saying this is ok?

I think this is a great image. nice color and light feeling. But there are two things that are catching my attention (I'll leave the sofa alone). Where are the legs for the table on the right? I don't see a far front leg. It seems to show through the glass coffee table (the lower right of the table), but not in the air?? The second thing is that there is no definition on the two parts of the ceiling-wall at the top-center. Other than that, great image!!!

Wonderful Stefano! I hate to see you abandoning Bryce... but love to see how you are able to get the same kind of quality in C4D in a really short time!
What samiwas sees as "the ceiling wall" I see as the ceiling instead and looks just fine to me
Wonderful work!

SUPERB!!!! C4D is excellent! Wish I had it. Of course, you've made interiors with Bryce, that are just as nice. Yeah, the couch is a little bulged, of sorts, but the reflections and glass are beautifully done!
