Description

Hi all, hope everyone is well. Created this image in bryce with a little touch up in Photoshop. Im going through a bit of an "artist block" at the moment. Not sure how to get out of, I think it could be the winter weather here in New Zealand LOL. Anyways, Im not all that happy with this effort but, oh well. Hope you enjoy and have a great weekend. Scott.

This is still cool. I hate creative block, went through one about a month ago that lasted forever it seemed. The lighting is very nice and the mats are perfect. The block will pass, this image will help.

I don't see the artistic block in this one, in fact I think it's really great work. Nice pose for the character and excellent textures and coloring. The details in the skulls....spooky stuff. Excellent job!

I love the wall texture and the broken chains. They tell a lot of story and it seems like a maniac is at work. The light sources are from two direction and they give a nice scissor effect. Overall a master peice like always. :)

Another book cover! :) Love the chains and that wall especially. I know what you mean about artists block. It's weird, when I have time to paint I don't get any ideas, but when I don't have time, like now, I get loads! It's not fair! :( :))))

Stupendous work....!!! the situation and the climate are of a great violence and terror....!!! the environment, the character's position and their expression are really incredible and spectacular.....!! the range of colors is the appropriate one for a scene like this.....!!

Darn, due to the time difference I'm always last in seeing these images and then what's left to say that hasn't already been said? Love the lighting on this Scott, gives the image a sense of depth. We all get "artist block" from time to time, don't worry, with all of that lovely Spring weather that you have to look forward to, it will come..it will come!

Artist block or not... you made another wonderful picture. Wish I had dry periods like yours but, seriously, I just think you must be happy. It's another excellent one: great mood and pose and beautiful lights and shadows, as usual. Love sepia tones. Congrats, and a Vote ;o)
