very photo realistic, well done, try doing some thing thats not been done before, bring your own style into your work, don't do what every one else has already done, your good, now use your own ideas and make every one sit-up and take note, all the very best for the future from Keith m Kay (falconian.com).

Thanks everybody for the warm and honest comments. I modeled the violin from scratch in Lightwave. For reference, I used a drawing from the excellent encyclopedia of "Musical Instruments of the World", published by Sterling Publishing Co. As you can also see from my other works I am still learning. The main goal of this particular render was shape accuracy and realism.

Wow... When I saw the thumb, I swear I thought it was a photo.... I play the violin myself, and I think what you've done is absolutely stunning. If I played as well as you model... Anyways, keep up the awesome work.
