I am trying to get a realistic paper look here. How am i doing and can anyone give me some pointers. Thanks :)

Its looking great. Perhaps you can laborate with the lights just to see how shadows can alter the impression of the scene. :))

Paper is VERY hard to do perfectly; so many aspects of it both in the modelling and textturing have to work together. The very est way is to do as you did, which is to use a scanned image to releive you of some of the texturing work, and then model the edges and wrinkles accordingly. I think you did a terrific job.

i think the creasing should be 'harder' -for this kind of paper. the bumps make it look more of like it's been wet in these spaces, so it's sagged... or someone with sweaty hands has been holding it... nice job, though
