This kind of hubcap would not fit on anything but a Chevrolet wheel which had little bumps to grip the full circle attachment or the rear of the wheel cover. The metal in the wheels was about twice as thick as the 1967 wheel. My friend had a little tab crack out of a 1968 wheel. You moved away from this V-8 to the six version most recently. The six was rumored to get 20mpg. Seventeen was good for the V-8. Fifteen? Maybe from the 225hp dual quad version. They had carpetted floors. Sort of like the comparison between a Toyota Corolla and a Datsun 210.
