Description
Yes... Terragen has definitely come a longe way since these first, crude version that are soooo far from present ones and are yet so similiar.
The picture you see above has been made with Terragen v.0.4. It was made (this particular version of Tg) in year 1998. That makes me wonder how will we look at our .908 version of Terragen in say 5 years? With a slight smile, murmuring 'yeah.. seems so ancient now, but it's still good old Terragen'.
I would like to thank Matt Fairclough and all the people involved in creating Terragen for such a wonderful progam!

I, too have found some older images I had kept. 640 X 480, low-res clunkers they were. But back then I thought it was so COOL. I'm sure the current version will seem almost like this very soon. Thanks for the memories.

My first effort in TG was in 2001 - and far from this kind of quality; done with simple means, resulting in a maximum of effect/mood. I would like to see it in a bigger format but I suppose, files are lost??

The files are lost in the ashes of history (and one of the hdd's that broke down). But even if I had them terragen 0.4 could only render pictures in 400x300 :)

Even though it's an old image and small, it's still pretty.
