BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

Love Is A Battlefield indeed...The only thing i have to say for this fine picture is that from my point of view it could be better not to make the two objects the exact same size...Otherwise, another piece of art from you folks...Regards. ---Kostas.

I wouldn't agree less. Where there is love... there are expectations and when expectations get hurt..... confrontation.

Love is hard work, it only becomes a battle if you don't put enough effort in. A beautiful image you guys. 8)

Love can't survive without confrontation it is the thing that strengthens the bond that love created. I believe it helps set the two minds as one when facing the challenges of life together. By creating the 2 lovers in this piece in the same proportions, shows that by these confrontations they are equal and the same, ready for each other and life itself. An army of two, so to speak. Another Excellent job bringing a genuine emotion into full view for all to see.

It has power and truth... and the fact that the symmetry is traslated away from the center makes the image even more fascinating.
