Description
...all around this lovely butterfly are the evidence of her birth.... lower leaves the repository for the hundreds of eggs that will be her sisters and brothers, once they become bright yellow and black caterpillars..the empty egg shells from those brightly striped crawlers...the chomp, chomp, chomped upper leaves of the Milkweed where they will later spin tranlucent green and golden hued homes that will house their final transformation.....through which one can observe the wings grow ...then the tiny opening through which the butterfly will emerge, wings wrapped all about her body....
For what is life but a series of hellos and goodbyes....as my dear, dear friend and Silly Old Bear has gently reminded me.....

Delightful, but I am not sure about Niutek's comment. I am sure Ruth is hidding behind the purple flower, smiling away.
