Modelling/render: Strata 3D Pro 3.9 No Postwork This is a test I saw on WinOSI's site, and thought I'd give it a try in Strata. All default diffuse materials. 1 hemispheric light (in Strata, a "glowdome"; some renderers will have to use a half globe mapped HDRI light source). Radiosity rendered, of course. The tough thing here is to eminate the correct diffuse light in the shade/shadows, while not burning out the areas directly exposed. Not as easy as it sounds. In Strata, this was easily achieved by increasing the "Diffuse Ray Bounces" setting from "1" to "2".
