This bird is a blue parrot from Brazil. Called in Brazil as: Arara azul grande and scientific name:(Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus) Check here: http://www.wwf.org.br/informa/sitearara_principal.htm

i like the selective coloring, always have, but i think the original colors would do better then the red... always fun to tinker though! :D

How the hell do you do those color things (i mean the one where only the Anodorblah blah is red... I do not wish to spell the entire name... I hate ornithology)

In my photo editing program, i would cut out the parrot using a "cut selection tool" then choose to adjust the color or gama, adjust as desired and choose "select none" and it is changed. if you cut out the bird and invert the selection, it selects the entire background (all but the bird) and then change the background to greyscale to acheive the black and white effect.

ya and you just went around your elbow to get to your ass... lol you can do that color removal in liek 10 secs without any marquee tool.
