Hail and well met,
Welcome to my Gallery and passion; drawing and rendering in 3D.BIOI demonstrated drawing ability from an early age, and followed a career path in graphic arts, doing technical drafting illustrations as well as portraits and landscapes in oils and acrylics. However, I found these mediums time consuming, limiting and awkward.
With the advent of digital rendering in the early 1990's, I realized the ideal media had finally arrived, and I embraced the technology, rendering solely in the digital domain.
I haven't looked back since!

Mikhail, if you do a sailing ship in this type of scene, make sure that ALL ports and hatches are closed and she is sailing under very reduced sail. In a storm of this size, an old square-rigger would never have more than one or two sails set, and no flags, for fear of dismasting and foundering. The reduced set of canvas would basically help keep the ship on some sort of course to ride out the storm. In fact, maybe have one sail in shreds, flying from the yardarm and ripping to pieces, which would really show the force of the wind as well as the tossing waves. Anyway, just a few ideas if you decide to show a ship in the same type of weather...
