Description
I wasn't really sure what genre this would be considered. Maybe satire, but there really isn't any message here, and if anyone somehow gets offended by this image, I think you're reading too much into it.
Anyway, I think it's an interesting depiction of religious symbolism way out of context. I don't normally go so overboard with framing a picture, but it seems to help convey the message: don't take this seriously in any way.

I wouldn't want to be bapitzed that way. Can you imagine falling, praying on the way down, then baptized? I'm sure on the way down I forgave everyone right away.

it's a well seen shot, the natural cross, & textures against the water... the title fits as well as the frame... you did great on this! :]

This is fantastic, love the concept and execution and I have no problems saying I have a strong distaste for organized religion. I am not offended by this, and I think this image makes a brilliant statement. Great entry for the challenge!

If I may be so bold, I will suggest that you have some feelings you are too afraid to expound here. Fair enough. Myself, I would have voiced my displeasure with organized religion and this piece would fit it perfectly. Excellent shot.
