Description
Pacifica, California, 1998.
You knew this was coming! The original, now scanned from the negative, reworked.
The old rusty metal, by the way, was replaced a couple years ago with shiny new (and much less photogenic) brushed steel. The wonderful yellow sign is also long gone. Glad I got these shots before it all went away...

awe, maybe they were afraid of the railing giving way... well worth viewing again! ...& still waiting with great anticipation for the splash...

Trying to imagine it with a shiny new brushed steel and without the sign... Looks like they went for more unexpected fun for the viewers! Hmm... did they leave the rust on the ground? I'm glad you got these shots, too - luv everything about them just the way you captured it :)))

Ok.. I have to repeat my comment about geometry.. Here too I love the space subdivision, exactly like the previous one.. Beautiful work, my friend :) Here all the horizontal lines are repeating the horizon line and this gives a kind of "vertical motion" to the shot (lol.. I know.. a mad comment, but I see this) :) Beautiful.. :)

Horizontals divided, great shot!

=) Lovely shot. The yellow is catchy and the lines are yammie as seadividers.

I agree about the orizzontal lines, they ssem to cut the background in stripes of different colours

The colors, the colors! Beautiful!!!....and this is what caught my attention oh so many moons ago. Nice to see these again, and so very glad you decided to stick around with us.... that chain around your ankle is still holding you tight here? Good I threw the key away...you'll never escape. :~)

Nice re-work Steve. This new modern stuff just has no character. Have the cleaned away the rust stains from the concrete walls as well?

Who allowed them to remove this V.I.S. (very important sign)? We for sure didn't - and I'm glad you gave us those pics to always remember it by.
