Description
On August 10, 2003 my husband and I found an injured Coopers Hawk three doors down from ours. At first we were amazed just to see one upclose and in our neighborhood, and then we quickly realized it was injured.
So we called Animal Control, and then tried to catch the bird on our own. We were successful, and the police gave us the name of a good Nature Center to bring it too.
Unforunately, I was just able to find out that the poor thing was hurt so bad they had to euthanize it. :(
