Thank you for your kind words, everyone. And Kase, yes, according to the book the writing was on the inside, written with glowing fiery letters, that became visible when the ring was cast in fire, and faded soon after that. But I had to compromise... :)

This would be really cool if the writing was on the inside and actually glowing. Also, the tabletop is cool, but to make it even more realistic, maybe it shouldn't be so shiny and lacquered. Did hobbits have lacquer?

Not to sound like an ass, but it would be nice if you could see Frodo, Bilbo or strider in this pic. But all 'n' all, its well done!
