Description

Do you like some details? Thought the wonderful gate... you know from my first picture of this series... was worth to take some detail shots to show the beauty of craftsmenship from former days. Hope you will agree. Decided to post all three shots. The truth is I wasn't quite sure which one shows it best. Perhaps you can choose for me ;o) Really curious on your decision! Hope you'll like it. Thanks for your time. Comments are always welcome. Hugs, Monika

This is very nice too. The shadows of the gate make this a great shot.

Ok - after looking at all three of them I'd say I like this one best. Not quite sure why, though. Maybe it's because of those shadows on the ground or just because I like those blue-and-white poles in the back which are not on the other two???

@ Drea... those poles are not quite high and the stand in the water which isn't on the same level as the floor. There are some steps down to the water, but you can't see them. The first shot was from the upper part, the second from the middle part. BTW those blue/white poles are in Venetian style. That is why in former days you could reach the entrance of this garden by ship coming from Venice.

I luv the double-lace effect here (the gate + the shadow) but there are too many distracting elements for my liking to pick this one as the best. It's wonderful, but my favorite is...

This one is my favorite:) The shadow from the bars gives it a 3-D effect, and it does seem to move like Cynlee said. Fantastic shot, Monika!!
