Description
This is my first attempt using Bryce and Photoshop.
Beastlord is a screenshot from the online game "Everquest"
Background and beastlord rendered in Bryce. Color overlay done in Photoshop 6.
Constructive critisism is most welcomed. I want to one day create the beautiful work I see in these galleries. Thank you and I await the suggestions for improvements.

I think you did a great job combining the game image into this scene. I like the reflection and the way you framed the figure in the landscape.

very great first attempt!!!! just one thing: mountains seems to be a little "flat", keep in mind that it's light wich gives deth to an image, try to add more shadows/highlights... but, it's a cool composition, anyway ;-) keep up the good work!!

Thank you for the comments and thank you phenix for the advise. Will work on your suggestions. Still overwhelmed with the program. I have no artistic ability or training and struggling with the easiest of tasks. Sure wish there was a book out there. Will make modifications and submit a hopefully improved version. -)

This is excellent!! There is a wonderful book by Susan A. Kitchens and Victor Gavenda called Real World Bryce 4. Even though you are probably using Bryce 5, it covers about everything but the tree lab. I agree with you-it is overwhelming! I've been using it about a year, and I still feel like a beginner! Excellent first image!!
