Description

After dinner, in the early evenings, Urk washed his face and hands, kissed his mum on the cheek (after he cleared the table, of course), and often set out for the next village. He presented himself at the second cottage on the left, where Jane's dad would greet him kindly, and usher the young couple out the gate. Sometimes they would go to the local tavern for a soft drink and a game or two of Uno with their friends, or to a dance or a visit with Jane's gramma, but most often they would follow one of the paths out of the village and take a long walk through the woods. They talked about everything under the sun, and Jane saw the truly wonderful fellow inside the bluff barbarian. Urk lives a wonderful life - he has the best of all worlds and this landscape is so well detailed and beautiful...Bravo!! He has certainly found his way into my heart.
