Description

The Story - The starship Eldridge picked up a faint signal from what appears to be a Starfleet class 9 probe. What was so strange about it is that there was no other Starfleet within 10 light-years of the Eldridge. The starship dropped out of warp and moved into transporter range to retrieve the probe. Immediately after they beamed the probe aboard, the Eldridge was swallowed by some form of energy vortex sending the ship into a realm never before encountered. Within this realm, space and time were distorted. All known forms of Newton based physics, such as the action / reaction principle, did not respond outside of the ship. Meaning thrusters and impulse engines were useless. However, the warp drive is not based upon Newton physics, but Cochrane physics. But the transition into this realm has overloaded the warp engines and needed a couple of hours to restore. But their repair efforts were hampered when it was discovered that this realm has opened a gateway to the ships nightmare past, future and alternate timelines. This included the Eldridge
