a REAL artist! awesome... it's a rare thing to see a real pen/pencil artist posting... TIP #1: Get a notebook of blank paper... toss the lined.. I know what it's like to doodle on school paper, BUT I also know what it's like to suddenly discover a work of art worthy of finishing right, only to be ruined by the stinking lines through it.... It frustrated me, so i got a sketchbook for a few bucks... some of my greates art was born. as soon as i can get and scan some pictures of my own pencil art, i will post it. I was acused of useing magazine cut-outs on one... till the teacher took a closer look, she freaked to discover it WAS pencil. keep drawing... PS: Tip #2: get the very faint outline, and then instead of redoing the outer edge in a cartoon style, begin your shading right away, start light, then work into the darker areas, you'll spend 30 times the time, but get 100 times the quality and triumph, W3

thaks.. yeah i usually do use sketch pad but .. i didnt bring it to school that day and i only had my school notebook so i had to use that.. i wasnt really planning on making a finished picture on notebook paper .. so i just wanted to do some thumbs of mech heads so i can get an idea of what i wanted to do when i got home and used the sketch book.. thanks for replying and thanks for ur advice .. u should check out some of my other stuff.. believe me this is not my best ha
