Description

Once again, I used "The Hankster"'s fantasic model of the HMS. Victory as the backbone for this creation. I wanted to make something that looks like a "Classic-Maritime-Art" image. Bryce 5 for just about everything, included fire, smoke etc....(it took 8 terrains to make those waves!!) + a little postwork in Photoshop 6 for the splashes and the holes in the sails. Thanks for viewing, hope you like this one as much as I've enjoyed creating it. Pierre

Your images are becoming better every time I see a new one ... Looking very good ... a shame the compression makes the lines become dashed ones !

It's a beauty, all right. You'd almost expect to hear what it's worth, according to the Antiques Roadshow! I particularly like the quality of light on the sails of the ship that's afire. It's a detail that could easily have been overlooked, and it's inclusion makes the image believable.

Very nice work Pjero.. The waves looks a bit overscaled compared to the ships.. it make your image look like a model boats battle.
