The modelling is extraordinary! I'd slip a shadow under the near leg--I don't know if Max is like some other programs and only calculates shadows for spots and not for infinite lights, but the shadow would visually anchor the model to the table. Beautiful work!

excellent modelling/realism, I agree with perkins that it needs anchoring to the table; some table textures & more spotlights would bring that 'crap looking therefore real' element.

I agree the model is awesome and also agree that you need to work the lighting a little more. Maybe you should go with another render or render method..

Thanks for the comments everyone. Yes,the shadows were off but not the software's fault. Pilot error.....I think this is a bit better.
