Description

Well, I saw the other knotplot models and wanted to try one of my own. And in turn use one of the knots as a light source, as seen in the second image. The first is just a true ambiance HDRI environment render. The second was created using no lights and true ambiance, the inner object was lit using the true ambiance from the outer object, this was done in two layers then composited in photoshop for the final effect. I thought it came out pretty cool so I gallerized it. Enjoy, criticism is always accepted, please post everything you don't like, it's the only way I can improve.

The top one is one of the coolest things I've ever seen! Just insane work, especially for Bryce. As usual you're pushing the bounds of the prog. Excellent :-)

Whoa! I didn't think you could do this with bryce. Looks more like cinema or maya. Amazing stuff.

There are a couple ways to do it in Bryce, they will be in the december issue of RRosity mag, so you'll have to wait untill then for all the secrets. =P.

go into the console of the Knotplot program and type objout name where name is the filename you want. I believe you can do 3dsout too, but I haven't tried yet. It's the oldschool method heh, you used to have to do it in the original rhino/metaseqoia, all the old modeling programs. The file will be generated in the knotplot directory, or wherever your .exe is for the program.
