I used to draw in church. This is a practice known as "incubation." For photographs you will have to look it up. The setting is important to the illusion in this photograph as you note. I was just looking out the screen at a bush part in the sun and part in the shade for some time. I saw a secret. The cold part of the bush was modelled and the hot part of the bush was templated in layers. This is from infrared. Stained glass would pass the visible and trap the infrared as heat. This may be why your clone varies in %opaqueness to produce an indoor illusion characteristic of outdoor. Magical! Now I wonder about uv. Destructive? IR already answered the shallowness in glass that leads to belief about shallowness of pentration in skin. You have a figure to limit security for all this.
