Description

A section of the west coast of Vancouver Island known as "The Graveyard of the Pacific". Over 200 ships have foundered here since the 1800's. At this location, the ruins of a large wooden vessel lie up along the tree line, a ship still unidentified. It was an unihabited, inaccesible, rugged coast, and even today has to be treated with great respect. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

With respect comes love, and I love the Island. Lucky guy to be living there :) Picked a perfect cloudy day for this shot.

The tone of this image and it's title all work together to reinforce the intense natural forces you've brought for us to see...and a powerful capture it is!
