Solitary sighting. 9/11 Re-upped to correct certain errors as pointed out by FitArtistSF which include the way the ship road in the water previously exposing copper and the size relationship to the Orca whale. Appreciate the comments and help!

That's one helluva BIG Orca!!! The Victory herself was almost 200ft in length. Which makes this a huge whale.....one little thing, ken', the ship is riding a little high. She needs to be down in the water a little more, about where the waterline is at the stern (where the copper sheathing is straight across from side to side). Looks good otherwise...

A very realistic scene!! This shows that you don't need tons of objects to make an effective picture. Well Done!!

I love the detail in the boat in contrast to the simplicity of the scene. You have created a fantastic balance without overburdening the picture.Sometimes less is more! Keep up the great work man!

Wow, what a wonderful image. As Nish said, it not necessarily needs a lot of elements in an image to make a good one. Bravo.

For me the most important things in your work are: calmness and some kind of positive sadness. And I don't care that the whale is too small or the ship is riding a little high. In my work I take care of details but here I can see something what I accept without a murmur. ELT+VOTE. :) Mirek

Oh come off it! This isn't Vue, it's a 19th century French painting! ;-) Absolutely stunning. You have my vote.

This is just beautiful. The ship looks so realistic I first thought is was a photo, and was suprised I'd missed it. It gets my vote.

Orca is way to large combined to the ship, but I loove the wideness in this shot!
