BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

Very nice. I think I'm attracted your "home" themes, as I liked the "homeless" one very much as well. Beautiful and subtle shape, definitely evocative of a Destination. Thanks for sharing! -DL

I know I don't post my thoughts nearly often enough about your work, seems like my thoughts are a muddled mess of things lately, just want you both to know that your images are all sublime and so peaceful and emotionally telling... and I look forward to each new issue. Great work my friends!

one more flying dream... the pure realm of fantasy is what you offer us daily :)

Great colours - almost Icelandic, Nordic, Northern Canada. There's a cleanliness and freshness to those colours that comes through in the image's emotiveness - a sense of breathing room, relief, energising crispness to the air. Your figure is splendid this time, with that marvelous midriff curve, tenderly cupping the "egg". Don't you ever get tired of doing such beautiful things? Go on, muck one up occasionally! Mega ;-)

I can see the image reach for it's homeland with a flag in it's hand...... marching forward. :) Home atlast. :) Great work masters.

I can not believe I missed this one. This is exceptional work even for you guys. Perhaps a whale returning to the place of her birth to mate and produce her own offspring, so that she may share her need to love and care for her own child. This work really touched me, thank you.
