Description

I picked History for this shot, because it has a little bit of mine. I almost bought this boat in 1969, when I got serious about gillnetting. It is what is called a "Mosquito Boat", as it's small and very fast. It was quite a suprise to come across it 25 years later in the boat graveyard in Bamfield Inlet. It looked the same right down to the colour. The only addition was the aluminum top house, we were tough and steered from outside in any weather. Stupid, maybe. Almost like meeting up with an old girlfriend, a real mix-up of emotions. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.
