Description


This is one I made real quick when the idea came to me. I wanted to make one of those old 1930's style cartoons, but in 3D. Here is the guy in 3D and cel shaded. I'm finishing up the final touches on his bone structures so he can animate.

Thats a very cool idea, the only error I see (and this is VERY VERY PICKY) is the number of fingers. In the 30's and 40's cartoons the characters generally only had 3 fingers total, this was used to save money and allow for easier animating (less fingers to worry about) but heck thats just a personal opinion and style choice just thought you might wanna know that. Thats also why the early animation characters mostly wore gloves as well....they are used to hide the wrists thus making it easier to animate them as well...just a bit of history...can't wait to see the guy in a scene.
