Description

*The weight of soft thoughts that kill, they kill when you cannot find escapes practicable to run out and win... Oh! All the weight that thought brings, when mirror is never mirroring the one you would like to see... But don't give up and never break, when the weight of soft thoughts you've tried to forget comes and makes your forces fade out, and so the breath... There's nothing to fear as long as you can name your tears, there are no fears as long as you can wipe your tears after their purifying path on your cheeks bow... Nothing to fear that a love, a friend can't solve nothing to fear, that I wouldn't help you for when at nights the shadows take shapes of wolves... So when the weight of those soft thoughts can kill, just feel you lighter than them, and lift... Take the light inside, and let yourself perceive you above the sky, feel you being that air that everyone has to breathe to stay safe. In you I see roses blossoming everytime, and the most precious garden you can be, and like a sister I treasure you in. And so feel like the air, as the light that all embraces... Feel you as the sweet creature you are whom my mirror always shows so bright when I focuse you in, and I wait for your smile.* ------------------------ pencil 2b, no postwork. ---------------------- This is Chris, cneofotistos, the first of my four favourite artists in Renderosity portraits. I can't say anything on Chris's art that could sound not even by far homagin enough the talent the pieces portray: you gotta see and make your own judgement... and I am sure, you on't find words big enough for what the gallery shows.I remember when the first time I received a contact from this anjelic creature.. I wasn't believing what I was reading in teh words that were so graciously sent to me then. I still everytime wonder how Chris can think so nicely of me...but after a while, I just thank above cos it's happening, and I don't ask me no reasons for anymore. It's just a gift.:) Chris can paint like rarely I have seen, without having got models, without having proper studies behind. But it's never just a paint the thing you get while opening the thumbnail. It's something more.well, it's WAY more, in fact. An intense shakin of your perceptions and feelings AND belief. A pushing kick that goes deep scratchin your hearts. A pure perfect technique, that is the less noticeable of things stillin what you see, because the message is what will take your souls over, and forever stay inside you. The joint of the technique and the message.. well it's just a miracle in my eyes.It should be in yours too. You can agree or disagree with the inspirations of Chris: but you can't avoid to agree, what cneofotistos adds here is something that only a real, impressive, extraordinarily TRUE artist could add. This place couldn't be the same without Chris. Love you always, like a sister. Thank you for having allowed me this. It means a lot.

I thought I had already commented on this, but it seems I didn't press the right button :( I love the composition - the curls in her hair echo the shape of the roses and frame the face beautifully. Her eyes are very expressive, especially as they are looking up and right which gives the impression she is remembering things.

To me a knight suggests a man whose spirit guides his body, someone engaged on a development of character towards perfection or beauty, someone that quests for something inaccessible or difficult to obtain, oftentimes submitted to temptations, tests, trials, obstacles, etc. A knight suggests also the respect of a honour code and a noble behaviour. In Middle Ages a knight was related to a Queen or King to whom he rendered his esteem and reverence. So, why not give the honourable title of sir to your knightly heroes, Guenever, sorry, queen Melania?

This face was done with special delicacy of style. It shows a side of you that contrasts with your more energetic vacation drawings. A pleasure to see.

Dearest Meli... you have once again gifted my eyes with the beauty of your talent. What a gorgeous work. My heart goes out to you and your family as well, I have been there so I have a pretty good idea of how you are feeling. Take care Meli, your smile is more than gold and I hope you are able to still let it shine.
