Been there, done it, lived there, survived the dialect ;) Do you know any other town which publishes entire picture books with titles such as "Beloved Watertower"? That was always a good laugh ;) Sorry, I like the tower, too, I was just a bit amused at times about the fuzz the locals were making about the "Wassertuam". Hey, why not add a photo about the baroque Palace of the Grand Elector of Palatine? That one is REALLY underrated. I mean, its the biggest palace complex of the western world (front facade is 500 meters wide!), Versailles is a dog hut compared to it and nobody outside friggin Mannheim knows that!
