The Barracuda MK II was the first Combifighter (Athmospheric and Deepspaceflight capable) the U.P.put into service. That was a great advantage to the MKI which is far faster but could not go down further than the Ionosphere of a planet due to friction and classifies as an orbital fighter. It is far heavier than the MKIV though due to the thick hullarmor and heatshields which are not up to date technology.It has to carry far more fuel and thus is not as well armed as the MKIV. Still it is a favoured fighter for some Pilots as it has proved very reliable in the years of service. Enjoy Dj
