Description

"Wee One" Wee One's entrance was an event to behold, She was so precious, so exquisite. Her tiny porcelain hands and silken hair, Wee One was beautiful beyond compare! She captivated all, even as small, was Wee One. Just as she was blossoming into an enrapturing fire, Wee Ones flames began to softly fade, While nestled in her mother's arms, She continued to slowly slip away, Tightly embracing Wee One, her mother prayed, "Oh Lord, please do not claim my wee love!" Her mother, nuzzled her closer, kissed her, "Wee One, you shall forever entrance my soul!" She was loved enormously, even as small, was Wee One, Often Wee One wept, even as she slept, As her mother eyed and watched for her breaths, "Please do not depart my cherished one", she whispered. Wee One awoke and smiled at the candle of light, And silently slipped from her mother that night, Her mother's grief, near too heavy to bear, And she cried in burdened despair, "Goodbye my cherished Wee One, goodbye." She will be missed greatly, even as small, was Wee One. --Vicki Horn, 1990

Jaclynn Mae 1987-1990

I have been wanting to do an image tribute to my best friend's daughter, Jaclynn, but could never seem to produce anything that felt right. Jaclynn succumbed to brain cancer when she was only three years old, but she fought so hard. Jaclynn's family was told over and over again that she wouldn't make it through the night, but she stayed with us for six agonizing and precious months. Jaclynn was the most beautiful little girl I have ever laid my eyes on - inside and out. Her brown almond shaped eyes, her ruby red lips and her shiny brunette hair only added to her beauty. Her fingers and toes were so delicate and she had the sweetest voice. I still see her in my mind, immortalized forever as a three year old. We will always miss you Jaclynn.

Statue photographed at an antique shop. Postwork in Photoshop7 and PSP8. Thank you for viewing! Best Regards...

Loving tribute. You have broken my heart for your dear friends. Too much pain to even imagine having to bare. They are lucky to have a friend who can offer them comfort.

This brings a tear to my eye. Such a horrible thing for all involved. I guess the only good thing is that she is no longer in pain. A beautiful and heartfelt tribute. My deepest regards...

Loosing a child must be the greatest pain possible. This is a great tribute to her and her parents. Full of beauty and grace, and so are your words!
